Robert Espeseth (August 25, 1953) is a 1984 Summer Olympics bronze medal winner. Robert and teammates Douglas Herland and Kevin Still won the bronze medal in the Men's Pair with coxswain (2+) event with a time of 7:12.81.[1] He was also an alternate on the US rowing team for the 1980 Summer Olympics.[2] At the 1986 World Championships in Nottingham, England, he placed first in the coxless 4 (-4) boat and took third place the following year in the same event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A University of Wisconsin–Madison alumnus, Robert is a member of the UW Athletic Hall of Fame, UW Rowing Hall of Fame,[3] and the US Rowing Hall of Fame.[4]

Robert is currently the coach of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Rowing Mocs.
